About Peter Jackson
Art: noun; the production or expression of an object according to the aesthetic priciples of what is beautiful, appealing, or significant
How an artist is viewed is strictly based upon those core ideas. As so, it is these ideas that are the basic background of all my artistic work. Art has been something that has been continually practiced in my family through gereneration, and is the main reason that I am practicing it as well. Ever since I was little, art has always been the one thing that I could fall back on and show my creative ability through the work that I produce. Art is one of my figurative foundations that describes me as a whole; it allows me to to show and create the things that you just can not see in your every day life. And still, as I age and mature, I am continually introduced to new styles and knowledge on art that once was not even thought possible by me.
What I create through my brush stokes, my hands, or chisels are the things that truly interest me in my everyday. I am a constant doodler and tinkerer, so it is common for me to try to draw/ paint images that are seen in my life and create three dimensional pieces of objects that truly mean something to me. The amount of time and effort that I put into work symbolizes the significance of that piece to my life and my artistic identity.
My artistic boundaries are continuing to be crossed as I develop my skills with new movements of art and new medians of art. Art is not that thing you do with a #2 pencil any more on loose leaf paperm but it has evolved into me painting realistice scenarios with oil paint and a brush on canvas. With new things inspiring me everyday and me learning new things everyday, my knowledge on art is increasing dramatically for the better of myself as whole.
